Artist's Comments
My first delving into dark art (and my second wallpaper ever). This idea came to me after a long Invader Zim binge (coupled with Vicaden for my horrible toothache).
I've seen alot of wallpapers with Vasquez characters, but its always cut and paste jobs (not that that's a bad thing in the least), never really a full blown image manip. I am new to this of course, and by no means a master, but I had alot of fun making the image, and that is pretty much the most important aspect of the whole shibang (that and Im pretty happy with the way it turned out). Some credits: The stock image is Issue # 7 of the comic "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" image copyrighted to Jhonen Vasquez comic copyright to Slave Labor Comics Inc. The brushes I used were a combination of: Hand made custom brushes Several brush packs from Nocturna at [link] (thanks for the wonderfull work guys) This image was made entirely in Photoshop 7 In any case, I hope you guys enjoy the pic.
